It’s 11:25 p.m. I had promised myself that I would be in bed early so I could read my book and get some sleep. Here I am learning to do an author’s website so I can learn how to promote myself more as a writing. Go figure. It’s sort of fun and I am enjoying what I am doing at the moment. It won’t be anything too fancy as I had decided to create it on Tripod instead of the confusing Wix. We will see how it turns out.

Fall 2011! June 23, 2011
I am excited for the release of my new piece coming in the fall of 2011 in R.E.A.L. As I finished the last few libraries in the Chinook Tour, students were as excited as I was to hear a brief description of the Princess with the 9 inch nose hairs! They wanted me to bring them a copy so they could read and find out what happens to the ugly gal. Keep checking back for details!
Chinook Tour A Success! May 29, 2011
So far I have visited 6 Libraries and met with numerous creative students from around Saskatchewan. Their imaginations are amazing and I can hardly wait to hear what the students are writing next. The most popular writing project was the Mystery box, with the slid story being second popular and then the choose your own adventure being third. I have two libraries left to visit.
It’s been interesting juggling libraries with the teacher’s strike. Hopefully the Chinook Tour won’t have anymore problems. I can finish off the tour and then move onto writing more stories, my novel and working at the Swift Current branch.
